Date and schedule
Dokk’em Open Air’s fifth edition will be held on May 27 and 28 of 2010, on the festival site called is located in Bornwird, near Dokkum. The village of Bornwird is situated on a mount and belongs to the council of Dongeradeel. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the province of Friesland.

Schedule:

Friday May 28: Dokk’em Rockt!

Camping site open for visitors to check in from 4 pm
Festival tent open at 8:00 pm
Start programme 9:00 pm

Saturday May 28: Dokk’em Open Air Festival
Site open at 11:30 am
Start programme 13:00 pm

Free camping and parking!

The organization of Dokk’em Open Air exert themselves to keep the festival low budget for all visitors. That’s why there’s a free camping site and a free parking space. The camping site will be open for visitors from Friday, 4 pm, till Sunday 2 pm. Fresh coffee, rolls and aspirin will be available on Saturday morning from 10 am till noon and on Sunday from 10 am till 2 pm. There will be plenty of parking space in a walking distance of the festival ground.

Payment
During the festival you will have to have tokens to get food and drink. Tokens can be obtained at the ticket-window. Besides cash payment at the ticket-window, there will be a cash dispenser on the grounds. Only merchandise can be paid in cash money. Rules and regulations
There’s a number of rules that everyone should abide to. This will attribute to the atmosphere of the festival and make it a nice day for everyone.

So please note the following rules: In general:
- do not take sharp objects to the festival site (glass, cans or metal)
- weapons are not allowed on any of the grounds
- do not take any drugs, only the possession of a small amount of soft drugs is allowed. The possession of hard drugs will lead to immediate denial to or removal from the festival grounds.

Parking
Please take care of each other and each other’s possessions, ergo cars. Drive with care and do not drive after taking any alcohol. Please follow any instructions from the personnel and the signs on the parking space. The organization of Dokk'em Open Air will not be held accountable for any damage to or loss of vehicles.

Camping site
Do not take any Sharp objects to either the camping site or the festival grounds. Of course you care about the environment and clear your disposals. You won’t cause trouble, but contribute to a nice stay for each other. There will be no loud music or shouting at night. Your car is parked in the parking space and your tent is set at the camping site. These two have to be regarded as separate areas and cannot be mixed up. The organization of Dokk'em Open Air will not be held accountable for any damage to or loss of any possessions.
