In The Beginning… back in 2006: Sjouke Hoogland (a die hard AC/DC fan) noticed that with his top-100 band “Stairway”, no matter where they played, everyone was mad about the music from AC/DC. At company parties and weddings even the stiff men-in -suits and ladies with handbags went completely crazy…. an idea!  At the end of 2006 that sleeping idea became fact and our budding Angus found, in no time, four other AC/DC fans who just like him wanted to play good old rock n roll just for fun. First came along Tjeerd Friewijk who considers AC/DC to be the definition of rock, and then came along Rogier Vis who, with his tight bass playing and straight forward way of playing, was the obvious choice for bass.

Rogier knew a guitarist who walked around with a thick lip announcing with a smile to everyone this was his “Stiff Upper Lip”; that was how Bernold Dekens was found. It was about time for a good singer and he was quickly found: Jan Grau, who is an authority on AC/DC. With his unparalleled energy and overwhelming voice he turned out to be the perfect front man.

“Highway to Rosie” was born….so….”Let There Be Rock”
