Stream of Passion was originally a project from the mastermind Arjen ‘Ayreon’ Lucassen and the Mexican singer Marcela Bovio. Arjen very rarely performs his projects live on stage, but after the release of his debut album ‘Ambrace the Storm’ in 2005, there did come a European tour. The album was a great success in the metal scene. The release of the DVD ‘Live in the Real World’ was a logical result. After the departure of Arjen and several other band members, at the start of 2007, Marcella looked around for new musicians to definitely put ‘Stream of Passion’ on the map. In 2009 the album ‘The Flame Within’ is the result, which is seen as a magnificent Gothic album. So: do not miss this!
